ON Wednesday, January 11, 2023, Seun Kuti, son of Afrobeat pioneering legend, Fela, celebrated his 40th birthday at the New Afrika Shrine, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos. The event also marked the celebration of his 32 years on stage since he began performing at the tender age of 8. The event’s theme simply asked guests to ‘Come Dressed Regally as the Gods and Goddesses that they are!’

Guests were treated to Afrobeat sounds and amazing performances, spectacular bottle services, and the best selection of champagnes, spirits, and cognac.
